OLAs Minor/Major changes
What does this mean for students and institutions?
Minor changes within a Learning Agreement can be modified without requiring the entire signing process to be repeated.
For minor changes—such as small corrections or updates—there is no need for all three parties (student, sending, and receiving institutions) to reapprove the agreement.
However, if the changes are major, they will still require a full round of approvals from all three parties to ensure proper oversight and review.
What Counts as a Minor or Major Change?
Minor Changes | Major Changes |
---|---|
Planned start/end of the mobility | Changes to any of the components inside Table A and Final LA Table A2 |
Sending/Receiving contact details (Responsible/Administrative person) | Changes to any of the components inside Table B and Final LA Table B2 |
All web links | Changes to any of the components inside Table C |
Minor changes include updates such as:
Changing the planned start or end date of mobility.
Modifying Sending or Receving HEIs' contact details.
Adjusting web links.
These minor changes can now be made without triggering the full re-approval process.
Major changes, such as modifications to study components in Tables A, B, or C, will still require approval from all three parties to ensure they are properly reviewed and agreed upon.
