Higher Education Institutions can now customise the Mobility Journey in the Erasmus+ App as well as add Events and Deals via the Erasmus Dashboard (read more about the entry procedure here). The following step-by-step guides will illustrate how you can put these key messages right at the fingertips of your students easily accessible via the Erasmus+ App!
Important!
Please refresh the Erasmus Dashboard page or clear the cache if the new menu options are not visible yet!
Access
The permissions to interact with the Erasmus+ App module need to be granted, as is the case for all other Erasmus Dashboard functionalities. As customary, the staff members with corresponding permissions can enable all relevant colleagues to get the needed rights via the Accounts and Access section.
If you are managing the staff accounts at a given institution:
- Go to the Accounts and Access
- Add the new permission “Erasmus+ App” to an existing role and the staff members who already have access to the Erasmus Dashboard will simply receive a notification that they now have new permissions.
- Or create a new specific role that has the permissions to share content to the Erasmus+ App and invite the staff members to do so.
Important!
Staff members who do not have the permissions to manage the Accounts and Access should consult the main institutional account holder or staff account manager at their institution to enable them access. See more information here.
Customise the Mobility Journey
Higher Education Institutions can submit more institution-specific information that would further enrich the guidance currently offered to the students in the Erasmus+ App via the Mobility Journey.
The Mobility Journey is a comprehensive step-by-step guide that aims to help students find orientation and prepare for a high-quality exchange aboard.
The material as displayed currently in the App has been drafted during a consultation event among the European Commission, student and HEI representatives and provides a general overview about the processes when going abroad.
You can select from the list of topics and see the information already available in the Erasmus+ App on the given steps and see if further elaboration would be beneficial for your students.
Then just add the information relevant for your students and submit to publish it in the Erasmus+ App!
Important!
You can also overview and remove the information shared to the App, should any adjustments be needed.
After modifying and re-publishing the information, please make sure to remove any duplicate content.
The drop-down options in their name already illustrate who is to see the specific piece of information.
Example:
Study mobility - Check the deadlines (outgoing students, before application)
From the given example - the information submitted would be visible for your outgoing students who are currently on semester mobility for studies, and have indicated your Higher Education Institution as the Home Higher Education Institution in their user profile.
Students would see the details when opening the Mobility Journey step on deadlines and could read more University-specific information .
