How can my institution update or delete information in the ESC-Router?

In order to update the details of an ESC, your institution must upload the updated card data to the ESC-R.

The ESC-R will then validate the data and update the information related to the card. Once updated, your institution can issue a new card for the cardholder.

There are two ways your institution can delete a card:

  1. by manually logging into the ESC-R and revoking previously created information

  2. through the API used by your institution to connect to the ESC-R. Submit the related European Student Card Number and the ESC-R will mark the card as deleted
