Who can have a European Student Card?

The students enrolled in a higher education institution registered with the ESC system are potential ESC cardholders.

The ESC is particularly useful for mobility students as it is a gateway to access services - on and off campus - offered by the host institution.

Only higher education institutions (not students individually) can ask to be registered in the ESC system.
